Behavior Assessment FAQs
-
Behavior assessments are a full day of daycare. Your dog will spend time with staff to assess their comfort level, temperament, and interactions with other dogs. A report card is provided to detail the results.
-
Dogs must be friendly with other dogs and staff to pass the assessment.
-
The assessment lasts a minimum of 6-hours, with drop-off as late as 10:00 AM and pick-up no earlier than 4:00 PM.
-
Retests are allowed based on the reason for not passing. Dogs that pose a danger to others are not eligible for reassessment.
Policies FAQs
-
We require Rabies, Distemper, Parvo, and Bordetella vaccinations.
-
It depends on the challenge. Aggressive behavior toward staff or dogs disqualifies participation. Minor issues like separation anxiety are considered on a case-by-case basis.
-
We’ll assess the situation and provide a detailed report. Dogs displaying indication of increased aggression must complete training and pass a new behavior assessment before returning.
-
Fees are non-refundable. Cancellations made before 7:00 PM the day prior will receive credit for future reservations.
